The Lovibond pH1 is a robust, waterproof, and portable instrument designed for precise and reliable measurement of pH and temperature in various environments. This handheld device utilizes a unique flat electrode which contributes to its robust nature, making it highly suitable for demanding field conditions. The meter displays both pH and temperature simultaneously, along with an indicator for remaining battery life.

The DTK range of pocket waterproof testers, including the pH1, is designed to float in water, providing flexibility for monitoring water conditions even in rugged situations.

Calibration

The meter supports both two and three-point calibration procedures. Standard calibration buffers used include pH 4.00, pH 7.00, and pH 10.01. The calibration procedure typically begins with the pH 7 buffer. After calibrating to pH 4 or pH 10, the display indicates a percentage value that reflects the condition of the electrode based on the calibration slope, with 100% being the ideal slope.
