Technical Specifications

Graphite Conductivity Sensor

The HI98303 uses an amperometric graphite electrode. The graphite sensor does not oxidize and helps minimize polarization effects, contributing to improved measurement repeatability compared with conventional metal-pin sensors.

Automatic Temperature Compensation

Conductivity changes with temperature, so the HI98303 automatically compensates for temperature variations between 0 and 50°C. The temperature can be displayed in either °C or °F, allowing users to obtain more consistent EC measurements without manual temperature correction.

Easy Calibration

Calibration is straightforward using the dedicated calibration button. The HI98303 uses a 1413 µS/cm conductivity standard for automatic one-point calibration. Once the calibration solution is recognized and the reading becomes stable, the meter automatically accepts and stores the calibration.
