The PACKTEST WAK-COD-2 is a portable, easy-to-use water quality testing kit designed to measure the Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) in water and wastewater. COD is an important indicator of organic pollution in water, showing how much oxygen is required to chemically oxidize organic compounds present in a sample. This kit is ideal for on-site testing where quick and reliable results are needed without complex laboratory equipment.

The kit includes 50 individual test vials that contain pre-measured reagents. When a water sample is mixed with the reagent inside a vial, a chemical reaction occurs that causes a color change depending on the level of organic pollution in the sample. The resulting color is then compared to a color scale chart to determine the COD value between 0 and 100 mg/L.
